I finally did something crafty again. I drew up this little fox and embroidered it on a really small hoop I found. The cloth is from a thrifted vintage pillow case. I’m proud that I did the entire thing by myself, including the original drawing haha.
This is my first time using this stitch too, I think it’s a back stitch, I’m actually not sure, I read about it months ago and then randomly decided to try it, never really checking to see it if was right or anything. (That’s kind of how I roll..)
I was originally going to add the words “foxy lady” to it, but I loved the fox so much as is, that I don’t think I can do it. Isn’t he cute? Should I name him? All foxes makes me think of the Fox and the Hound, which is my favorite Disney movie, maybe I’ll name him Todd.

It’s lovely! Very cute! Good job girl! And, yes, it’s a back stitch and it’s done perfectly right!
SO cute!!!
How adorable!!! I want one!
PS. I love Fox and The Hound also!
Aww he’s very cute! I love the fox and the hound! I use to wish I could be a Disney animator but I never was great at drawing :p
Cute! I love the detail of the tail and the circle on his belly.
i like it! i wish i could embroider!
Cutest. Fox. Ever. <3
So adorable- I just love embroidery! And what a great vintage fabric find in that pillow case

He is too cute! And yes I think that is the back stitch. One of my favorites. That and the split stitch.
Definitely name him Todd. He looks like a Todd.
Aw it looks great. You did a wonderful job at the back stitch and I love that it’s on a patterned fabric. What do you plan to do with Todd?
